Dr. Joydeep Banerjee Chowdhury is currently working in Joint And Bone Care Hospital Salt Lake as the HOD in Orthopaedic Department. He has been associated with this hospital since the inception and has set up the unit. He performs about 300 joint replacement surgeries every year apart from trauma surgery. His area of special interest is knee joint replacement surgery. He sees about 800 patients in his OPD every month. He has three trainee registrars and one fellow working full time in his unit, there are seven other orthopedic surgeons in the unit.
